BOWERS, Daisy Elizabeth (nee Clarke) - Passed peacefully away on February 3, 2011 at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, N.L., Daisy Bowers, age 78 years. Leaving to mourn her husband Steadman of 51 years; her children Russell in Calgary and Steadman Jr. (Tracy) in Paradise. Her grandchildren Kathryn and Andrew. One sister Mildred Rideout (Hardy), one brother Wallace and sister-in-law Mary in Spaniard's Bay, N.L. Daisy will be fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon-9 p.m. A Salvation Army funeral service will be held at the United Church at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Bell Island on Monday, February 7, 2011.
