GEORGE, Marguerite (nee Pittman)- Passed peacefully away at the Dr. O'Mahoney Centre, Clarenville on Saturday, January 29, 2011, Marguerite George (nee Pittman), aged 94 of Lower Lance Cove. Predeceased by her loving husband Clarence (1991) and three brothers: Chesley, George and Lester. Leaving to mourn daughters: Eileen (Arthur Adams), Clarenville, and Linda (Bob Turner), Mount Pearl, and sons: Chesley (Lillian), Shoal Harbour and Lawrence (Mary), Mount Pearl, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, brother Walter Pittman, Michigan, USA, and a large number of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 1st, from the Salvation Army in Hickman's Harbour and interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery in Lower Lance Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the Lower Lance Cove Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
