Roz's welcoming smile warmed hearts and her energetic spirit and positive attitude celebrated life. Roz graduated from West High School in 1938. She married Howard in 1943 and worked at the Moore Dry Dock in San Francisco during WWII. She raised her children in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. She was a bookkeeper for three OBGYN doctors for about 30 years. She walked to work, swam for fitness and ate healthy foods (there were always carrot and celery sticks for snacks).
Roz travelled yearly from her Tucson home to be with family in Newfoundland, Canada, stopping to visit friends and family in Wisconsin. She greatly enjoyed her shallow water fitness classes and friends at the Aquarena. Thanks to Rachel for being a swimming partner.
Thanks to her caregivers Carol and Thelma in Newfoundland, and Carmen, Sonia and Undine in Tucson. Donations may be made to charity of one's choice. She encouraged us to appreciate the earth.
Please share stories about Roz and expressions of sympathy at www.wenigfuneralhome.com. Celebrations of life will be held at a later date.
