The death of Gardenia Rose Cora McGinley of Chipman, NB occurred Friday, February 4th, 2011 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Jack and Alice (Vautour) Allen. Rose is survived by her five children; Richard (Cindy) of Quispamsis, Pearl Fortin (James) and Jack (Doreen) both of Minto; Kevin (Tracey) of Saint John and Darlene (Mike) of Ottawa; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her friend, Van Jones of Chipman; a sister, Phyllis West (Bill) of Midlands as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to both parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Lawson McGinley and a sister, Emily Allen.
In keeping with Rose's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be scheduled in the spring at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. www.mintofh.com
