It is with great sadness the family of the late Marguerite George, age 94, announce her peaceful passing at the Dr. A. O'Mahoney Manor, Clarenvillle, on January 29, 2011. Predeceased by her parents, Aaron and Sarah Pittman(nee Blundon); brothers, George, Lester and Chesley and dearly beloved husband, Clarence. Leaving to mourn with many precious and loving memories are her children, Eileen (Arthur Adams), Chesley (Lillian), Linda (Bob Turner) and Lawrence (Mary); grandchildren, Gail, Annette and Paula, Harold and Danette, Tanya, Robbie and Mark, Krista, Jolene and Nicole; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Walter and many other relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour. The funeral service, officiated by Major Phyllis Blundell-Colbourne and Captain Reid Colbourne, assisted by Rev. John Adams, took place on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the Salvation Army, Hickman's Harbour with interment following at the Salvation Army cemetery, Lower Lance Cove.
