The passing of Jean Lamoureux, of Fredericton, NB, wife of Albert (Ab) Lamoureux, occurred on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 9, 1943 in Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Dot (Warren) McKay formerly of Cornwall, PEI.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Karen Warren (Bill) of Beaver Dam, NB and son, Darren Lamoureux (Debbie) of Plantagenet, ON; four grandchildren, Lianne, Mathew, Alex and Colby; brothers, John McKay (Jane) of Cornwall, PEI and Bob McKay (Dianne) of Kingston, ON; several nieces and nephews, and of course her three beloved household cats.
At Jean's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Humane Society, Chalmers Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit or the Extra Mural Program.
