The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, January 29, 2011, of Anne Isabel Campbell (nee MacLeod), wife of the late Arthur Campbell of York Point, age 84.
Anne was the cherished mother of Carol Anne Eagar (James), David (Patricia), Mike and Patrick; grandmother of Troy (Shezy), Jeff (Setzuko), Chris (Siobhan), Steve (Sarah) and Jennifer (John); Tom (Mel) and Jackie (Brad); Eliza Jane (Andy); and Ericka, Ben and Kaley; and great-grandmother of nine. She is also survived by her sisters, Leitha Moreside and Louella Kuntz (Ed); brother, Carl (Opal); sisters-in-law, Roma, Annette and Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Arthur, she was predeceased by her parents, Archibald and Sadie (Coles) MacLeod; brothers, Dan (Inez), Emerson (Joyce), Claude, Allison and Fred; and sister, Tillie Andrews (Raymond).
Resting at the Father Clare Macdonald Lounge of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Cornwall, for visitation on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Charlottetown Catholic Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Oncology Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be appreciated.
