C. Joseph "Joe" Marchbank
The death of Joe Marchbank of Hampton, husband of Nancy Kelly, occurred February 6, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, son of Curtis and Bonnie (Chase) Marchbank. Joe was a carpenter, working first for Scott Turner and later for Andy Hopkins. He was also a bike and sled mechanic and was employed by McLean Power Sports and Superbikers. Joe was always riding or working on bikes, sleds and four wheelers; nothing made him happier than hanging out in his garage with his friends and his dogs. He had a passion for racing and raced bikes and sleds for over 15 years around the Maritimes. He is survived by his wife Nancy; parents Curtis and Bonnie; step-children, Ashley, Kaylee, Emily and Jesse Reynolds; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
Resting at Reid's Funeral Home, (506) 832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held Thursday, 2:00pm, at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton, with Rev. Leo Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Living Memorial, Canadian Hemophilia Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. www.reidsfh.com
