(1950-2011) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Bernard McKinnon 60, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Saturday, February 5th, 2011. Bernard was the son of the late William and Imelda (Cormier) McKinnon. Bernard has worked in construction in Ottawa and at the Eaton's Center in Toronto and after returning home he worked as fisherman. Bernard will be sadly missed by his mother; Imelda McKinnon of Richibucto, his wife; Marie Mai (Doucette) McKinnon of Richibucto, one daughter; Chantale Doucette (Earl) of Ottawa, two sons; Charlie McKinnon of Moncton, William McKinnon (Samantha) of St. Charles, three grandchildren; Heidi, Ethan and Rylie, three sisters; Carol McKinnon (late Charlie Milian) of Richibucto, Bernice McKinnon of Richibucto, Nora Strasser (Tom) of Stormville, New York, one brother; Norman McKinnon (Germaine) of Pirogue, and many nieces and nephews. Bernard was predeceased by one brother; Robert McKinnon.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 am and 1:00 pm until time of funeral.
