It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Ethel J. Brewer on February 6, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Priceville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Stewart) Price. Ethel enjoyed her family and especially her visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a wonderful collection of roosters and dolls and she spent many days tending her flowers and knitting. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and she thoroughly enjoyed decorating her home for the holiday. Ethel is survived by her children, Deborah Clowater, Terrance Brewer (Cathy) and Daniel Brewer all of Fredericton, NB, Candace Donnolly (Arthur) of Tracyville, NB and Malcolm Brewer (Laverne) of Halifax, NS; her sister, Gertrude Price (Douglas) of Fredericton, NB as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Walter, Frank and Hardy as well as her sisters, Olive, Phyllis, Nellie, Bertha, Ada and Mary.
Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home (458-9170), 160 York St. on Thursday, February 10th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 11th, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jeff Crabtree officiating. Interment will take place in the Ludlow Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
