Jean Brown
Jean L. Brown of Bear Island, NB passed away at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 7, 2011. Born in 1929 at Upper Caverhill, NB, she was a daughter of the late Richard C. and Nina C. (Cunningham) Harris. Jean was an extraordinary and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt who adored her family. Jean is survived by three daughters, Judy Coulter (Wayne), Bear Island, Gertrude Clites (Kenneth), Carisle, PA and Lorraine Pickard (Andy), Temperance Vale; ten grandchildren, Cali Coulter (Bud), Corwin Coulter, Jolene Coulter, Adrian Coulter, Jasmine Ferguson (Adam), Julie Clites, Arthur Clites, Dennis Young (Lindsay), Cody Young (Asha-Lynn) and Andrew Pickard; two step-grandsons, Ivan and Adam Pickard; fourteen great grandchildren, Jessika Young, Destany Young, Chloe Hanson, Bree-Ann Young, Alexa Young, Jordan Coulter, Alyssa Coulter, Cameron Tupper, Carson Tupper, Christen Tupper, Cassie Tupper, Carleigh Tupper, Ainsley Ferguson and Rilee Ferguson; five step-great grandchildren, Kayla, Christina, Sierra, Brandon and Brittany; two brothers, David Harris (Elva), Woodstock and Donald Harris (Sharon), Caverhill; four sisters, Maude Fox, Tracy, Ruby Hiltz, Upper Caverhill, Hildred Thompson, Fredericton and Goldie Stewart, Woodstock; a sister-in-law, Ruth Brown, Bear Island; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Eldon Brown in 1994; her parents-in-law, John B. and Minnie S. (MacLean) Brown; a granddaughter, Amber Lee Coulter and a brother, Charles Harris.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Wayne Hutchison officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Bear Island Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Andrew Pickard, Cody Young, Dennis Young, Arthur Clites, Corwin Coulter and Adrian Coulter.
