Anne Gertrude (McInnis) Cameron, precious wife of Joseph Cameron for 59 years, has passed.
Anne was born in Glace Bay, N.S., the eldest daughter of Alec and Maude McInnis.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Charlie, Shea, Marie and Eugene.
Anne is survived by her sisters, Tillie, Frances, Winnie and Isabelle.
Anne and Joseph were married in 1949 and moved to Ontario in 1958, settling in Oakville. Anne worked at Sacco Fuels (later BP) as a bookkeeper, while raising her children. Anne loved to garden and cook. Casseroles of any kind were her specialty and her pistachio squares disappeared in minutes. She loved her husband, her family, her home and her friends. Anne was devoted to her church and believed steadfastly in the power of prayer.
Anne leaves behind her four children; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins and friends.
