The death of Mrs. Mary "Martha" McKinnon, wife of the late Gordon McKinnon, of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of South Esk, N.B., occurred on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at the age of 85 years. Martha is survived by one daughter Shelley McKinnon of St. Thomas, Ont., and three grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by special friends Rolla and James Sutherland, Sherry and Dana Waye and Nicole and Chum. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters Emile, Alyre, Alma, Clarice, Mary, Margaret, Clovis and Edward. The family will receive visitors at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, on Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care of West Prince Funeral Home.
