Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor Nursing Home, in the presence of her loving family on Monday, February 07, 2011, Genevieve (Hogan) Mandville, aged 85. Predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Catherine Hogan of Northern Bay, NL.; her husband, Cyril (2008), her sisters: Margaret, Veronica, Mary and Josephine; brothers: Francis, Lawrence, and Harold and her son-in-law Mark Smith. Leaving to mourn her children: Doreen (Jim Davis), Jerry, Doris (Skip Harris), Kenny (Sylvia), Ruth (Wallace Gregory), Cathy (Ken Duff), Ed (Cathy); seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also her brothers: Gerard Hogan and Adrian Hogan; her sisters: Bride Muirhead and Nora Connors. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, St. John's on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 2-9 p.m. Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 12-10 p.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Anne's Church, Dunville on Thursday, February 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow.
