Retired civil servant, formerly of Marystown. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving niece Theresa and close friends at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Center on Monday, February 7, 2011, Mary Rowe, aged 80 years. Predeceased by husband Ralph B. Rowe (1967); parents Thomas and Jessie Reid; two brothers: William and Emile Reid; two sisters: Eileen Walsh and Theresa Kilfoy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sister Elsie Walsh; two sisters-in-law: Evelyn and Sadie Reid; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special nephew Ralph Walsh and special nieces: Shirley Moulton, Theresa Baker and Maureen Ressier. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, February 8th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and at Wiseman's Funeral Home in Marystown on Wednesday, February 9th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Sacred Heart Parish in Marystown on Thursday, February 10th at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.
