Durling Demont of Dartmouth, passed away on February 7, 2011 in Oceanview Manor.
Durling worked for 35 years as a carpenter for the Department of National Defence.
Durling is survived by his daughter, Dianne Donavon; Grandchildren, Kevin and Carla, Floyd, Dianna, Debbie; Great Grandchildren, Amy and Andrew, Stephen and Matthew, Craig and Stacey, Thomas, Kyle and Trevor.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary and daughter Dolly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Stairs Memorial Church, interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with a reception to follow in the church hall.
