It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Wayne B. Kitchen of Longs Creek, NB on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 69. Born in Longs Creek, NB, he was a son of the late Bertram and Violet (Kelly) Kitchen. Wayne was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Department of Transportation, Province of NB. He was a member of the 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church and the Men's Breakfast Group at the church. He is survived by his wife Jean (Bell) Kitchen; son Royden Kitchen (Jackie) of Longs Creek; daughter Sandra Kitchen (Earl Brewer) of Fredericton; grandchildren Nicholas Kitchen and Natalie Harris; step grandson Josh Sewell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother Tyler and sister Mabel.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 from the 2nd Kingsclear Baptist at 2 PM. with Rev. Kendall McRae officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
