Gambo. June 1st, 1929 - February 5th, 2010, aged 81 years. Phyllis Mae passed away suddenly at Oram's Emmanual Manor in Gambo on Saturday, Feb 5th, 2011. Predeceased by husband Baxter (2005), Phyllis was the last surviving member of her family (Peter and Susannah Lush). Leaving to mourn are her three daughters: Pearl Patten (Juan), Shirley Ring (Frank), Cathie Tulk (Greg); two sons Lorne (Celestine), Kevin (Nicole); ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and extended family; also special friend Kate Taite, and her friends at the Senior's Manor, as well as friends throughout Gambo, other areas of Newfoundland and Labrador (Labrador City). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery fund or charity of one's choice. Visitation Hours: February 9th (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service: Funeral will take place on Feb 10th, 2011 (Thursday) at 2:00 p.m. at Salvation Army Gambo with interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery.
