Born in West Cape on Sept. 23, 1925, son of the late Benjamin and Helen (MacDonald). Dear father of Sandra Milligan (Jimmy Deranger), Summerside; Floyd, O'Leary; and Dale, Mill River East. Cherished uncle of special nephew Bently (Barb) MacDonald, O'Leary. Loving poppy of nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Brother of Atwood, Alberton; Fairley (Alvin) Yeo, Knutsford; and Audrey (Blair) Thompson, O'Leary. Brother-in-law of Bessie Dumville, O'Leary; Jean Dumville, Charlottetown; Florence (George) Stewart, Ottawa, Ont.; Glenn MacNevin, O'Leary; and Georgina Dumville, Murray Harbour North.
Predeceased by his parents; daughter-in-law, Irma; brothers and sisters, Alice, Jessie, Eva, Charles, Boyd, Stanley and John Leigh in infancy.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment at a later date in the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo.
