Delores (Storey) (Parker) Scheidl passed away Feb 6, 2011 at the Santouri Hospice at the Peter Lougheed Centre, Calgary, Alberta after a short battle with cancer. Born April 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Henry Storey and Yvonne (Carr) (Storey) Betts. Delores is survived by her partner, Walter Rogers, sons Larry (Debra), Anthony (Charlene) of Calgary; Christopher, LaCombe, Alberta; Jackie (Laura) and James (Jennifer) Parker, Doaktown, NB; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, half brother David Betts, half sisters Lillian (Claude) Russell, Audrey (Keith) Arbeau, Ida (David) DuPlessis, three aunts, Etta (Earl) Bruce, Helen Storey, Katherine Storey and several cousins.
Predeceased by husband, Leo Scheidl, step father, Rolland Betts, brother Henry and sister Evelyn, children, Wayne, Thomas, Carol Ann, Shirley Mae and Bonnie Lou.
At Delores' request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will take place at a later date at the United Baptist Cemetery, Doaktown, NB.
