At her home on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 of Iva Ruth Sweet of O’Leary aged 61 years, loving wife of Clair Sweet. Born in O’Leary, Dec. 9, 1949, daughter of Millicent (Crozier) and the late Lorne Silliker. Cherished mother of Ruthie (Darrell) Ashley, Brooklyn. Loving grandmother of Darcy, Sarah and Laura, all of Brooklyn. Dear sister of Ada (Roy) Lidstone, Knutsford; Watson (Olive) Silliker, O’Leary; and Myra (Danny) Bulger, Dunblane. Daughter in law of Ellis Sweet, O’Leary. Sister in law of Frank (Barb), Donnie (Carolyn Gaudet), Lorne (Bonita), Allan (Cindy), Ralph (Sherran), all of O’Leary. Special friend of Linda Yeo, Maxine Harris and Noelle Costain. Predeceased by her father, mother in law Annie Sweet, nephew Randy Lidstone, and sister in law Linda Sweet. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in the Mount Royal Peoples Cemetery. Memorials to Mount Royal Peoples Cemetery, Kidney Foundation or the Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated.
