It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY J. ROWE of St. John’s, formally of Marystown, announces her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre in St. John’s on Monday February 7, 2011 at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sister Elsie Walsh; 5 sisters in law Evelyn and Sadie Reid, Blanche, Dot and Rita Rowe; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special nephew Ralph Walsh, and special nieces Shirley Moulton, Theresa Baker, and Maureen Ressier. Pre-deceased by husband Ralph B. Rowe; parents Thomas & Jessie Reid; 2 brothers William and Emile Reid; 2 sisters Eileen Walsh and Theresa Kilfoy.
Funeral Mass took place on Thursday February 10, 2011 at 1:00pm from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Marystown. In Mary’s memory, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre. No flowers by request of the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes.
