RONALD J. MACDONALD
We, the family of the late Ronald J. MacDonald wish to thank our families, friends, neighbours and colleagues who visited, called, brought food and meals, prayers and support during his last days and in the days that followed. Also, thanks to the many people who sent flowers, cards and donations in his memory. Thank you to the priests and healers who offered prayers, healing and support during this difficult time; especially Fr. Conrad Edwards, Fr. Paul Abbass and longtime friend, Fr. Francis Cameron for his moving service. We wish to thank the wonderful nurses, especially the VON and Palliative Care, and the Palliative Care doctors, who helped make the journey easier. Finally, we wish to thank D. Fashir and especially Dr. Glenn Gracie for his many years of compassion and caring. Your loving support helped Ronald to die with the same quiet strength, grace and dignity with which he lived. It was also a source of strength to his family in the days and weeks that followed. Your kindness was appreciated and will be forever remembered.
