It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of "Babs" on January 23, 2011 at Mt. Edward's Court Care Home in Victoria.

Babs was born in Downham Market, England in 1921. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe, in 1999 after 56 years of marriage.

She leaves behind her daughter Gillian (Richard) and sons Gary in Kamloops and Paul (Joanne) in Victoria. She is fondly remembered by her grandchildren Teresa, Rick, Michelle and Sarah and great grandchildren Melanie, Laurie, Alexander and Samantha. She leaves her older brother Cecil and his family in Leicester, England.

The family would like to thank Nancy, Noelle, John, Bette and Jim for their support and to the staff of Mt. Edward's Court for their care and attention over the last three years.

A family gathering will be held early April in Kamloops. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
