Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on February 10th, 2011, Phyllis McKay, in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband George, parents Mary Ann and William Dean, her sisters Theresa Grace, Mary Dwyer, Margaret Dean and Barbara Dean, her brothers Francis and Leo, her nephew Wayne Dean and niece Roseanne Grace. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Georgina Brown and Brenda Barter (Jeff); sons: Jimmy and Bernard; grandchildren; special great-grandchild Noah; son-in-law Reg Brown; her brothers: Bill (Madeline), James Walsh, Aloysius (Joan); her sister and best buddy Alice with whom she resided, along with nephew Keith and grandnephew Blair Grouchy, her sister-in-law Marie Dean; her brothers-in-law: Maurice McKay (Mable) and Cyril (Winnie), as well as other family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, February 14th, 2011 at 10 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
