We, the family of the late Milton Joseph Veniot, would like to express our appreciation of the many acts of kindness extended to us during Milton’s illness and upon his passing on January 24, 2011. Thank you for all the thoughtful, caring expressions of sympathy sent to us in phone calls, emails, letters, cards and on-line. Our appreciation is extended to all who sent flowers and food, made donations in Milton’s memory and for the many visits from friends and acquaintances. To the Victorian Order of Nurses, Dr. Gordon Young, Dr. Gerry Farrell and the nurses and staff of the Medical Day and Palliative Care Units of the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, we thank you for your assistance, care and compassion throughout a difficult time. To Glenn, Jim and staff of the McLaren Funeral Home in Pictou, we thank you for your reassuring expertise. To those who attended the visitations on January 29th we thank you for making a difficult day much easier to bear. It was comforting to see old friends and colleagues and to share happy memories. To Mary Beth Moriarty, we thank you for officiating at the burial service and helping us to honour Milton’s life. Heartfelt thanks go to Sean MacDonald and Lynn Reierson for their unwavering support. Your kindness and caring will not be forgotten.
