It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of Patricia MacDonald, age 69, on June 28, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Wilena MacDonald.
She was employed for 10 years as an RN in Mount Sinai in Toronto, Ont. and after moving to Glace Bay, Patricia worked as an RN at Glace Bay General Hospital. She loved looking after people.
She was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church in Glace Bay.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her grandparents, John D. and Margaret (Moore) MacDonald; uncles, Donnie, Tom, Jim, Melvin, Bobby; aunts, Catherine, Laura, Raechel, Georgina and also many cousins, especially, Eric and Donald Adams and Joan Nichols.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13 at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery with Michael Henderson officiating.All are welcome to attend.
