Passed peacefully away at The L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, February 12, 2011, surrounded by her loving family Dot Chafe, aged 85 years. Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Fannie and brother Hughie. Left to mourn her loving husband of 54 years Robert (Bob); daughter Denise (Keith Dooley); son Douglas (Rose); three grandchildren: Jennifer, Rachel and Colin; sister Harriett; as well as niece Arlene and family and a large circle of other nieces, nephews relatives and friends. At Dot’s request cremation has taken place and her wish was to have no visitation. All family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Dot’s life which will take place from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Brent Tompkins as well as the doctors and staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre. Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home on Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. or donations in Dot’s memory may be made to The Dr. H.
