Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Monday, February 7, 2011, Mrs. Gladys Hynes, age 91 years of St. Jacques. Leaving to mourn her loving family: sisters, Julia (Allan Dominix) at Belleoram and Lillian Strickland at Port aux Basques; brother, Leo Dominix (Elizabeth) at English Harbour West; sisters in law, Marjorie Dominix at Belleoram and Dorothy (John Phillips) at English Harbour West; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Alexander, and brother, George. Funeral service was held on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at 10:30 am from the Roman Catholic Church in St. Jacques with Father Justin officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery at St. Jacques.
