The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, February 14, 2011, of Mr. James McCardle of Emyvale, age 67 years.
Beloved husband of Elva Annie (nee Cudmore) McCardle, and loving father of Robie, LuAnne (Dwaine) Lewis, Pat (Karla), Brian, Martha and Matthew (Irene Trainor). Grampie of Keegan and Renée McCardle and Sarah Lewis. Brother of Marie (Brian) Kelly, Eugene (Paula) and Paula (Keith) MacKinnon. Sadly missed by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Patrick "Paddy" and Mary (McAvinn) McCardle.
Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home. Funeral mass on Friday from St. Ann’s Church, Emyvale, at 11 a.m. Interment later in the family plot at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Lot 65.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday 6-9 p.m.
