LAURA CHRISTINE FUJITA
Date de naissance : 22 mai 1985
Date de décès : 12 février 2011
May 22, 1985 - February 12, 2011
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Laura at the tender age of 25 years.
Left to morn her passing is her loving family, son Carson Hadwin, parents Michael and Linda Fujita, Laura's sister Bailey (Spencer) and her brother Madison and her "Rent-a-Sister" Kathleen, grandparents Albert and Georgina Van der Wilk. Also many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Laura was predeceased by her grandparents Horst and Hideko Wuensche, Charles Fujita, Irene Blazieko and Neil Goos.
Laura had completed her nursing and was to graduate with honours this Friday, February 18, 2011. Laura had many interests, one of them being her beautiful son Carson Hadwin whom she adored and loved to the moon and back. Laura also was great at fishing. Like the time she caught her 24 pound Halibut, she could barely reel it in, it was almost as big as her! She loved to snowboard in the winter and spend time camping with family and friends in the summer. Laura had traveled to Vegas, Netherlands, Texas, Italy, Monaco, Florida, Arizona and California, making friends wherever she was, with her outgoing, bursting personality she really was the envy to all who knew her. Most importantly her brother and sister, who idolized her and that she was always looking out for and protecting.
A Celebration of Laura's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Southwest Baptist Church, 700 Hugh Allen Drive, Kamloops, B.C. with the Hospital Chaplain Viktor Gundel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the scholarship fund for her son Carson Hadwin at the Bank Of Montreal, Account #0720-3994-350 in memory of Laura.
