April 12, 1941 - February 14, 2011. Passed away suddenly at his home in Blaketown on Monday, February 14, 2011, Winston Poole of Blaketown, formerly of Placentia, aged 69 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary Poole; his 1st wife Evelyn Poole, brother Ralph Poole and sister Charlotte Cornish. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his loving wife of 9 years, Pat; two sons: Darryn Poole (Tammie) and Dan Poole; stepson Randy Thorne (Renata); stepdaughter Vicki Thorne (Wilf); grandchildren: Darren Poole, Brady, Nicholas, Brendon and Lexi Thorne. He is also lovingly remembered by two sisters Maggie Pearce and Ann Spencer (Alex); as well as a large number of other relatives and many friends. By Winston’s request cremation will take place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Warren’s Funeral Home on Thursday, February 17th from 12:00 noon - 10:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held from Zion Pentecostal Church, New Harbour on Friday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, flowers in Winston’s memory gratefully accepted.
