Guy M. Mills
Aged 72, Springhill Junction, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Cumberland Regional Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Dean and Ruth (Hunter) Mills. Guy worked for many years in the lumbering industry operating a forwarder.
He was a member of the Springhill Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed playing cards, especially 45’s and crib. Guy is survived by his best friend and partner, Laura Leblanc; special nephews, Murray (Melody) Mills, Clairmont; Timothy (Beverly) Mills, Oxford; niece, Gayle Hartling, Campbell River, B.C.; sister-in-law, Murlina Mills, Springhill; and Laura's daughter Sandra (Ed) Luedee and their children Cyndi and Jacob, Lower Sackville.
He was predeceased by brother, Roy Mills. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 4 p.m., Tuesday, February 15 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (447-2930).
