Lucy Kettle
April 25, 1928 – February 9, 2011

It is great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Kettle announces her passing on Wednesday February 9, 2011 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 82 years. Born at Port au Port, NL Lucy was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Skeard. She was also predeceased by her husband James Kettle in 1985, son Maxwell Kettle in 1985, brother Roy Skeard in 2001, 6 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law. Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories children Arthur (Cora) Kettle Port aux Basques, Alice (Norman) Ingram Port aux Basques, Samuel (Lydia) Kettle Port aux Basques, Ivan (Marilyn) Kettle Eastern Passage, NS, Sarah (Wayne) Madill Ottawa, Owen (Linda) Kettle Toronto, Rose Allen Port aux Basques; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister Delphine Redepenning, sisters-in-law Jane Kettle, Nellie Kettle and large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation took place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral service took place on Saturday February 12 , 3 PM at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Grand Bay, officiated by Rev.
