1930 - 2011 - Moncton - Gérard Bourque, 80, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence Shediac Inc. on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton on June 11, 1930, he was the son of the late Aurèle and late Anna (LeBlanc) Bourque. Gérard will sadly be missed by his wife, Antoinette of Moncton; his daughter, Charline Gallant (Phillip) of Moncton; his five sons, Gilles (Robin) of Grimsby, ON, Louis, Michel, Jean-Guy, all of Moncton and Jacques (Monique) of Dieppe; his two sisters, Marguerite LeBlanc (Owen) of Lynn, MASS. and Maria Melanson (Hervé) of Moncton; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Claude and Roger; three sisters, Rita, Carmella and Violette.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Sunday, February 20th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, February 21st from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Passage Chapel, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Monday, February 21st at 11 am. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
