Passed peacefully away on February 15, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his loving family, William E. Vallis, in his 91st year. Predeceased by his parents Edwin and Margaret of Grand Bank, NL and his brother Marshall. Leaving with fond and loving memories his wife, Ruby; daughter Betty (James) Sherstan of British Columbia and brother Ewart of Grand Bank, NL; four precious grandchildren: Michele, Scott, Cindy and Craig; four loving great-grandchildren: Nicole, Emma, Andrew and Tayla, all of British Columbia, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
