Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, of Mrs. Teresa Mary Doucette (nee Brown) of Charlottetown, age 76 years.
Beloved wife of Walter Doucette and dear mother of Janice (Billy) Smith, David (Judy), Patty (Randy) Good and Cory (Julie). Loving Nanny of Angela and Jill Smith, Taylor-Jane Birt and Sophie Doucette. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Rose (John) MacLean, Pat (Dave) Carstairs, Bill Brown and Ervin Brown, all of Ontario.
She was predeceased by her parents, Austin and Florence (Gallant) Brown; her granddaughter, Kathleen Doucette; her brothers, Bernard, Joe, Fred and Winston Brown; daughter-in-law, Eileen Doucette; and son-in-law, Melvin Birt.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 a.m. Saturday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
