1925 - 2011 - Osithe Babineau, 85, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Genevieve LeBlanc. Mrs. Babineau was a member of St-Louis-de-France parish. She is survived by two daughters: Jeannette (Fernand) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Bernice of Moncton; nine sons: Normand (Carolyn) of Middlesex, Paul (Donna) of Riverview, Jean-Guy (Lorainne) of Boundary Creek, Rodrigue (Thelma) of Dieppe, Francis (Dolores), Alcide (Marilyn), Yvon, Michel (Brenda) and Oscar (Marilyn), all five from Moncton; one daughter-in-law, Claudette Goguen of Moncton; one sister, Corinne Babineau of Dieppe; one brother, Emile (Bertha) LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé; 20 grandchildren: Jeremy, Matthew, Mark, Michel, Nicole, Suzanne, Lisa, Daniel, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Sarah, Eric, Shaylen, Monica, Luc, Christine, Justin, Christian, Emily and Brandon; 11 great grandchildren: Brianna, Zackery, Mitchell, Evan, Owen, Jaden, Sophie, Patrick, Alexa, Jacob and Jax as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse in 2007; three sons: Joseph, Maurice and Justin; two sisters: Celina and Elise and also by four brothers: Alyre, Joseph, Willie and Leonce.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St-Louis-de-France Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at 10:30 am. Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
