Graham, Robert Maxwell “Mac” – 89, Upper Musquodoboit and formerly of Eastville, passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2011. Born in Burnside, Colchester Co., he was a son of the late Cyrus and Emma (Harrison) Graham.
He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting, fishing and gardening. Mac was always prepared to help when someone called needing their tractor fixed. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be forever missed by children, Pam (Rick) Durling, Fort Myers, Fla.; Connie (Joe) Gault, with whom he resided; Elliott (Lois), Rocky Mountain House, Alta.; grandchildren, Annette, Robert, Krista, Alicia, Ethan, Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Alyssa, Kalee. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; brother, Elliott.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Seventh Day Adventist Church, Truro, Pastor David Hamilton officiating. Spring burial will be in Proven Cemetery, Burnside. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to the nurses and friends who made Dad’s stay at home comfortable.
