We, the children of the late Bernetta "Bernie" MacInnis, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our family, friends and neighbours who so thoughtfully visited, phoned, sent flowers, food, emails, sympathy cards and memorial and charitable donations. A very special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, staff and Hospice of Palliative Care on 4E at the CBRH who kindness, compassion and professionalism during mom's lengthy illness was outstanding. Thank you to the nurses and staff of 4B. A very special thanks to Stephen Grast for the kindness he has given to our mother during his visits with her, she would always tell us you were her boyfriend. A very special thanks to the Music Therapist, Jill Murphy, mom really enjoyed singing with you and you always put a smile on her face. Thanks so much to Home Care and VON for the care they have given our mother. A special thanks to Dr. Kodagoda for the excellent care he has given our mother over the years. A heartfelt thanks to all the pallbearers, Rev. Errol MacDonald, organist and choir. A very special thanks to Bill Curry and staff at T. W. Curry Parkview Chapel, for your guidance, compassion and professionalism during this difficult time. We are very thankful to each and every person who touched our lives during this time. We will never be able to thank you enough for all the love, compassion, support and caring you have shown.
