It is with great sadness that the family of the late John White announce his passing on Friday, February 18th, 2011 at the Bonne Bay Hospital in his 78th year. He will be sadly missed by his family, his daughters: Marilyn (Ford), Jackie (Kevin), Lucinda (Hayward), step-sons: Bob (Muriel), Rod (Pearl); his grandchildren: Trent, Ashley (Andrew), Lesley, Melinda-Ann, Pat (Samantha), Stacey, Corina, Clinton, Ramona (Roger), Randy (Bev), Hal (Lynn); great-grandchildren: Christopher, Adrian, Juliann, Brady Ella, Angel, Luke, Robert, Joshua, Jessica, Rebecca, Jacob and Courtney; two great-great-grandchildren: Paige and Chase; sister Bertha Payne; two step-sisters: Brenda (Gerald) Major and Beulah Pittman; one step-brother James (Dot) Wight; sister-in-law Melvina Wight; two brothers-in-law: Dawson (Edith) Roberts and Elwood (Jenny) Roberts. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Letitia (nee Roberts), parents William & Annie, brothers Rendall, Chesley (Violet), Hayward, Simeon (Karenza). Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour today, Saturday where also funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Olsson officiating.
