Ann Marie Brown
Surrounded by her loving family, Ann Marie Brown, 71, of Stellarton passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17th, 2011 in the Palliative Care Wing of the Aberdeen Hospital .
Born in St. John, New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Audrey (Lee) Stevens.
In earlier years she worked at Electrohome and Wearwell Garments. She was an incredible mother and grandmother who had wonderful talents in sewing, quilting, knitting, ceramics and tole painting. She loved her family above all else.
She will be sadly missed by daughters; Cindy (Jim) Rizzotti, New Glasgow, Sharon(Jeff) MacLaren, Stellarton, Susan (Ian) Parsons, New Glasgow and a son Jim(Mary) Brown, Trenton.
Seven grandchildren; Pamela, Denise, Stephen, Sara, Jennifer, Candace and Jared; two great grandchildren Jacob and Charlotte.
She is also survived by a brother Donald (Mary Ann) Stevens, St. John N.B., sisters –in-law Doreen Pembleton, Stellarton and Auldis Day, Delta B.C. and many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her constant companion Bandit.
She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm Brown.
There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Brookside Cemetery.
Donations in mom’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital.
