Cecilia Turner, of 6 English St., passed away peacefully, at home, Friday July 10, 2009.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Rebecca (Foley) Turner. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Cecilia is survived by nieces; nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by siblings, Ida, Mary, Steve, Vincent, Alf and Sam.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Curry’s Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
