SIMMONS, Olive Shirley (nee Templeman) — Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on February 18, 2011, Olive Shirley Simmons at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by parents Philip and Emma Templeman, son Carl David, and brother Gordon. Lovingly remembered by husband Vernon, son Neil (Jacqueline); granddaughter Laura (boyfriend Colin); grandsons Carl and Elliot. Sisters Evelyn Hunter (Val), Linda Herner (Ken), Carrie Templeman (sister-in-law). Brother-in-law, Bruce Simmons (Pearl); sisters-in-law, Melvina and Eleanor Simmons, Lily Peach (Fletcher). Many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home. Visitation: Saturday, February 19th from 7-9 p.m.; Sunday, February 20th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 21 at 2 p.m. from Gower St. United Church. Rev.
