Gwendolyn "Gwen" B. Hunter, age 84, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Spencer's Nursing Home, Moncton on
Friday, February 18, 2011. Born in Thomson, NS, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Blanche (Davis) Hunter. Gwen grew up in Oxford, NS, after graduating she moved to the United States where she worked for a few years, then returned to Moncton and worked at T. Eaton Co. as head secretary for over 30 years. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her brother Adrian Hunter, Wallace, nephews Dana (Mary) Hunter, Tatamagouche and Deane Hunter, Masstown, NS.
Arrangements have been entrusted to W Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167) where visiting hours will take place on Monday from 9 am until the time of the funeral at 10 am, which will be held at the funeral home.
