The death of Theresa MacDonald of Oromocto, NB, wife of Bertram MacDonald, occurred on February 18th, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born March 25th, 1923 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Murray and May (Caples) Kennedy. Theresa is survived by her husband, Bert; her sons, Gary MacDonald (Deborah) of Saint John, NB and Wayne MacDonald (Kathy) of Oromocto, NB; grandchildren, Sean, Robert, Jennifer and Elizabeth; one sister, Constance Smith of Saint John, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Mary Kennedy, Catherine Kennedy, Helen Cook, Gerald Kennedy and Murray Kennedy.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church in Oromocto on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 am with Canon Walter Williams officiating. Interment will take place in the St. John's Anglican Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Theresa may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
