1913-2011 - Gérard Fagan, 97 of Richibouctou-Village, husband of Cécilia Collette-Fagan passed away at the Stella-Maris de Kent Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2011 after a brief illness. Born in Peters Mills, NB on August 10th, 1913 he was the son of the late Patrick and the late Marianne (O`Brien) Fagan. Gérard worked as a fisherman and he also worked as a millwright for the company Inco in Sudbury, On. He was a founding member of the Golden Age Club in Richibouctou-Village and a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. He will be sadly missed by his wife Cécilia, his daughter-in-law Linda Fagan, his grandchildren, Shawn, Patrick and Josée, his great granddaughter Sienna as well as nieces and nephews. Gérard was predeceased by his first wife Yolande Richard Fagan, his two sons, Michel and Paul, three sisters, Elisabeth, Adele and Béatrice, six brothers, Edgar, Alfred, André, Albénie, Alphée and Zoel.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Slumber Room Richibouctou-Village on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:45. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Church on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00am. In Gérard`s memory donations can be made to the Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
