WILLIAM LEO GALLIVAN

We, the family of the late William Gallivan who passed away on February 14, 2011 at Taigh Na Mara would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who supported Dad and our family during his illness and following his death. We wish to thank Dr. MacLean and the staff at Taigh Na Mara for their kindness and professionalism during this difficult time. A special thank you to Dad's dedicated caregivers at Taigh Na Mara. Words alone cannot express how special you are and how thankful we are for the gift of your love and care. Our heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbours for your support and expressions of sympathy, for sending food, flowers, mass offerings, sympathy cards, charitable donations, telephone calls and emails. Thank you to Father Paul MacGillivray and Father Errol MacDonald for your words of comfort during the visitation and funeral. Thank you to the pallbearers; Greg Baldwin, Alex Morrison, Bob Burchell, Jack Pearson, Greg McNeil and Martin MacKinnon. Branch 128, Royal Canadian Legion, Veteran's Service Officer Frank Martinello, with our special gratitude for the Honour Guard and service at the church. Naval Veterans Association for their great send off for a fellow shipmate, special thanks. A special thank you to Bill Laurie and staff of Whitney Pier Community Funeral Home for their guidance and support during our loss. Your kindness will always be remembered.
