BARTLETT, Harry Joseph– Passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in the presence of his family on July 6th, 2009 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by parents Dobson and Pamelia, sisters Mildred Caravan, Dorothy Brown, and brother Charles Bartlett. Left with loving memories, his wife of 65 years Beatrix; children: Joan Sills (David) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Robert Bartlett (Judy) of Gander, and Fronie Adams (Brian) of Mount Pearl; eight precious grandchildren: Stephanie Smith (Steve), Robert Sills, Jennifer and Matthew Bartlett, Christopher, Jonathan, Heidi, and Natalie Adams; one special great-grandson Joshua Smith; sisters: Genevieve Reeves (Mount Pearl), Joyce Mullett (Mount Pearl), brother James Bartlett (Oshawa, ON); and many neices and nephews. Funeral arrangements and visitation to take place at Hoskins Funeral Home in Botwood on Thursday, July 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, July 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Citadel on Circular Road in Botwood. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Gideons, the Salvation Army Botwood Band, or a charity of one’s choice.
