TERESA "SHARKEY" MACDONALD
We, the children of the late Teresa "Sharkey" MacDonald have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness, love and respect shown to us since the passing of our mother. This has comforted us to know she leaves a community who loved her as much as we do. Thank you to all who visited, called, sent food, flowers, memorials and mass cards. Many "pans of squares" were baked by Nanny Teresa and sent to friends and families in their time of need. Gratitude is sent to Dr. R. Azer, the CBRH Emergency Room staff and the EMT's, especially Michael Gittens. Thank you to Father Doug MacDonald and Father Ray Huntley for your comforting words. Thank you to the CWL Honor Guard as well as the prayers at the funeral home by the CWL and the KOC. Thank you to the ladies at the Mount Carmel Centre for the lunch following the funeral on January 1. Special thanks for the beautiful hymns sung by the Saint Leonard Choir and soloist Nipper MacLeod. Thank you to the readers; Andrew, Sandra and Frankie as well as the Eucharistic Ministers. Also thank you to the pallbearers, her grandsons; Tony, Robert Mark, David, Matthew and Stephen. Thank you to granddaughters, Pamela and Danielle, niece Tracey and "special granddaughter" Joanna for bringing the Offertory. Tot he staff of VJ McGillivray's Funeral Home, we thank you for your kind and compassionate care. Everything was "just beautiful".
